Church Bombing in Iraq Leaves 58 Dead
A church in an upscale Baghdad neighbourhood was the target of a seemingly coordinated attack which left 58 people dead, including 12 policemen and 78 wounded.
A car bomb was conducted against the stock exchange which killed 2 guards and is now considered as a distraction against the real attack against the church.
An official who spoke for 4 minutes to the hostage takers claims they did not have an Iraqi accent. Their demand was to free their fellows from prison and 2 Egyptian women who were forced into islam and then renounced it in Egypt.

Apparently I was the real security threat going through Reagan National that day. I guess I'm not destined to become Bill's favorite conservative blogger.
So Ayers, and now his fellow unrepentant domestic terrorist and spouse Bernardine Dohrn are getting vocal recently, stung by the University of Illinois Board vote to deny him emeritus status.
Led by RFK's son Chris Kennedy.
And now it seems their leftist street cred is under assault by the evidence that their Weatherman commie manifesto of Days of Rage yore, Prairie Fire, was dedicated to Sirhan, Sirhan, RFK's assassin. As those of us who know their history are aware--Robert F. Kennedy was an anti-war icon of the left.
I know, because I was a liberal then, pre-college days. I cried when he died.
Nothing illustrates more the radical nature of the terrible and murderous intent of Ayers and Dohrn--to the left.
Perhaps Bernardine Dohrn is worried about her own pet emeritus status at Northwestern.
And then there is the possibility of their material support of terrorists who mean harm to Chicago--today.
So I'll ask again-- at what price does the PC media shelter this. And the Dem machine establishment in Chicago.

Carol "Mostly Fraud" Bashes Rahm in Mayoral Bid
Piling on with the Chicago Way crowd that surrounds the president in DC (Valerie Jarrett, is that you?) the former one-term Senator and one-time Dem presidential candidate lashes out at Rahmbo.
Did Rahm say you never want a serious crisis go to waste? Yes. But is Rahmbo primarily responsible for the Dem debacle? I don't think so. He was their majority maker with his Blue Dogs--who lost bigtime Tuesday for endorsing the Obama-Pelosi agenda. There was outright slaughter in Illinois, though we didn't win the governor's office.
Carol Moseley Braun is not called "Mostly Fraud" for nothing. She wasn't shunned in the Senate like our current Bleepin Golden Blago pick Roland Burris (An Instant Star!), but she was a real piece of work, even by Illinois standards.
Covering up sexual harassment. Consorting with a corrupt and brutal dictator. Personal Medicaid fraud. And as far as accusing Rahm of going Hollywood:

The IRS found evidence that the pair had spent $70,000 on designer clothes, $64,000 on travel to Hawaii, Europe, and Africa, $18,000 on jewelry, $12,000 on stereo equipment, and $25,000 for two Jeeps.
I hold no brief for the Rahmfather, but she was such a lousy and corrupt Senator at the next election her seat turned over to a Republican in Blue Illinois.
